
Axelle is an international development expert, with over 18 years of experience managing projects in complex multicultural environments. She has been advising and leading funding strategies for governmental and non-profit organisations for the last 12 years, growing donor and partner relationships and developing the capacity of teams to design and implement quality stabilisation, governance, education and humanitarian programmes. Axelle conceived nimble and large governance and stabilisation programmes for DfID and the EU in Asia, the Middle-East and Africa.
Axelle has strong partnership brokering skills with experience extending from the local and grassroots level to global organisations. She enjoys working with teams, to identify solutions to complex issues, at each project cycle stage.
She has worked for NATO, the UN and the British Council as well as a large media freedom NGO.
She is certified in Political Economy Analysis (The Policy Practice UK - January 2023) and advanced monitoring and evaluation systems (INTRAC – June 2022). She holds a certificate on development management from the Open University and a M1 in communication from the CELSA, Sorbonne University (Paris).
